Multi-Branch School Groups
Every branch on one dashboard — without visiting each one
One login for the whole group. Compare fee collection, attendance and results across campuses, drill into any single branch, and let each principal keep running their own school.
Quick answer
A multi-branch school group runs on EduGradUP as one group account with a separate, isolated database for each school. The group owner signs in once and sees every campus side by side — fee collected versus pending, attendance, exam results, unclosed cash books and document expiry — then opens any single school in read-only mode to check the detail. Each branch principal continues to log in to their own school and sees only their own data. Pricing is per school by size, from ₹9,000 to ₹23,000 per year, with the group dashboard included at no extra cost, so a five-branch group pays for five schools rather than an enterprise licence.
Built for your school model
One login, every campus
Sign in once as the group owner and see all branches on a single screen — students, staff, fee collected, outstanding, attendance and average health. No switching accounts, no separate URLs to remember.
A health score per branch
Each school gets one 0–100 score blending fee collection (30%), attendance (25%), academics (20%), staff stability (15%) and compliance (10%). Sort ten schools by it and the one that needs you today is at the top.
Drill into any school, read-only
Open a branch from the group dashboard and you are inside that school's own admin screens with a read-only session — the server refuses every write, so you can inspect a receipt or a mark sheet without any risk of changing it.
Compare branches over time
Chart any metric — collection, attendance, admissions, outstanding — across all branches on one graph for 7, 30 or 90 days, so a slipping campus shows up as a diverging line rather than a surprise at year end.
Alerts that come to you
Set thresholds once — collection below 80%, attendance below 85%, cash books left unclosed — and the group is notified per branch, batched into a digest, with a cooldown so an ongoing problem does not re-alert every night.
Branch autonomy, group oversight
Each school keeps its own database schema, its own admin team, its own fee structure and academic calendar. A principal sees only their branch; the group office sees everything. Neither can accidentally reach into the other.
What actually breaks when a group grows past two schools
The software is rarely the first thing to fail. What fails is the reporting loop: every branch keeps its own registers or its own copy of a system, and the group office asks for numbers by phone or WhatsApp at month end. Those numbers arrive in different formats, computed on different dates, and often on different definitions of the same word — one branch reports fees 'collected' for the month, another reports collected for the year, and the consolidated sheet quietly adds them together.
By the time a trustee notices that one campus is ₹15 lakh behind on collection, the academic year is two terms gone and the arrears are much harder to recover. The cost of running several schools without consolidation is not the licence fee — it is the months of delay between a problem starting and the group office seeing it.
EduGradUP removes the reporting loop rather than speeding it up. Every branch runs its own day-to-day operations in its own isolated database, and the group dashboard reads from the same figures the branch itself is looking at. There is no separate consolidation step to get wrong, and no month-end wait — the group view is as current as the branch's own screens.
How the group dashboard is put together
The top band answers the only question a group owner asks first: what is the group worth and how much of it has come in. Students, staff, collected, outstanding, attendance and average health sit across the top, followed by a collection gauge showing collected as a share of everything billed — not today's banking, which on most mornings is zero and tells you nothing.
Below that is a needs-attention queue. It deliberately does not list every school with a rupee outstanding, because in an Indian school that is all of them for most of the year. A branch appears only when something is material: health below 55, overdue past 15% of what it billed, a week or more of unclosed cash books, an expired compliance document, or figures that have gone stale. Each entry states its own reason, so the queue is a to-do list rather than a census.
Then the comparison tools — a trend chart with every branch as its own line, and a ranking of schools against the group average. A branch six points below the group mean is actionable in a way that '4th out of 7' is not.
What multi-branch software normally costs, and what this costs
Multi-branch and group deployments are usually where school ERP pricing changes shape: the per-school rate is replaced by an enterprise or per-student contract, and the quote grows with the group rather than with what each school actually uses. Published pricing for the established Indian vendors starts around ₹40,000 per year for Fedena and ₹35,000 for Entab CampusCare — per school, before the group layer is added.
EduGradUP keeps the same size-banded pricing whether you run one school or twelve: ₹9,000 a year up to 150 students, ₹14,000 to 350, ₹17,000 to 700, ₹23,000 to 1,500, and a custom plan above that. A five-branch group of mid-sized schools pays five Standard plans — ₹85,000 for the year — and the group console, the alerts, the cross-branch charts and the mobile app are included rather than sold as an enterprise tier.
There is no per-student metering and no module-wise gating, so a branch that grows through a size band mid-year is not re-quoted, and a branch that wants the exam module does not pay extra for it.
Getting an existing group onto one platform
Branches almost never arrive together. A group typically has one school on a legacy system, two on spreadsheets, and one that has just been acquired with its own software and its own admission-number format. EduGradUP is designed for that: schools join a group one at a time, and a school already running EduGradUP on its own can be invited into a group without migrating anything or losing its history.
Each school keeps its own admission numbering, fee structure, academic calendar and board configuration — CBSE, ICSE, UP Board, BSEB, RBSE and other state boards are all supported, so a mixed-board group does not need two systems. Student and staff data is imported per branch from Excel, and the group dashboard starts showing a school from its first nightly roll-up.
Frequently Asked Questions
14 questions
How do I manage multiple school branches from one dashboard?
Create a group account, then add or invite each school to it. The group owner signs in once and sees every branch on a single screen — students, staff, fee collected and outstanding, attendance, average health score and any open alerts — and can open any branch in read-only mode to inspect the detail. Each branch continues to log in to its own school account for day-to-day work.
Can one login manage all school branches?
Yes. A group director signs in with one email and password and reaches every school in the group. Opening a branch mints a short-lived, read-only session for that school, so no separate credentials are needed per campus and no password has to be shared with the group office.
How much does multi-branch school management software cost in India?
EduGradUP charges per school by size band — ₹9,000/year up to 150 students, ₹14,000 to 350, ₹17,000 to 700, ₹23,000 to 1,500 — with the group dashboard, alerts and mobile app included at no extra cost. A five-branch group of mid-sized schools pays about ₹85,000 a year in total. Established alternatives publish rates from roughly ₹35,000–₹40,000 per school per year before any group or enterprise layer is added.
Can I compare fee collection across all my branches?
Yes. The group dashboard shows collected, outstanding and overdue for every branch side by side, plus a collection rate for the group as a whole. A trend chart plots any branch's collection over 7, 30 or 90 days on one graph, so you can see which campus is slipping rather than only which is behind in total.
Will each branch principal see the other branches' data?
No. Every school's data lives in its own isolated database schema, and a principal's login reaches only their own school. Only accounts explicitly added to the group can see across branches, and even then the group role is read-only inside a school by default.
Is the group dashboard included or an extra module?
Included. EduGradUP does not gate features by plan — every plan carries all modules and the full mobile app, and the group console comes with the schools you have already paid for. There is no separate enterprise licence for running more than one school.
How many schools can one group have?
There is no fixed cap in the product — groups run from two schools upward, and the dashboard is designed to stay readable at that scale by ranking worst-first and surfacing only material exceptions rather than listing every branch's every metric.
What is a school health score and how is it calculated?
It is a single 0–100 figure per school, weighted across fee collection (30%), attendance (25%), academics (20%), staff stability (15%) and compliance (10%). If a school has no data for a component — no exams held yet, for instance — that component is left out and the remaining weights are rescaled, so a new school is shown as 'not scored' rather than being ranked below a genuinely failing one.
Can my schools be on different boards?
Yes. CBSE, ICSE, UP Board, BSEB, RBSE and other state boards are supported, and board configuration is per school. A group with a CBSE senior school and a state-board branch runs both on one platform without needing two systems.
One of my schools already uses EduGradUP. Can it join our group?
Yes. An existing school is invited into the group and keeps all its history, admission numbering and fee structure. Nothing is migrated or re-entered; it simply starts appearing on the group dashboard.
Can the group office send one message to all schools?
Yes. A group broadcast reaches every school in the group, or a chosen subset, in one action — so a holiday notice or a fee-deadline reminder does not have to be re-typed by each branch office.
How do I know if a branch is hiding a problem?
The dashboard tracks the signals a branch cannot quietly leave undone: cash books left unclosed and for how long, compliance documents past expiry, overdue as a share of what the branch billed, and how stale each branch's figures are. A branch whose numbers stop updating is flagged as out of date rather than shown as healthy.
Do I need an IT team to run this across branches?
No. EduGradUP is cloud-hosted with nothing to install per campus. Each branch's office staff use the same interface a single school uses, and the group console needs no configuration beyond adding the schools.
Can I try it before moving all our branches?
Yes. Start with a 15-day free trial on one school, with no credit card. Groups typically bring one branch live first, confirm the fee and attendance flows against their own registers, then add the remaining schools.
