We respect your privacy and data rights. If you want to delete your account and all personal data from the EduGradUP platform, you can easily submit a data deletion request.

      ⚠️ Important: After data deletion, all your information will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Please back up any important data before requesting deletion.
    

How to Request Data Deletion?

Follow the steps below to request data deletion:

Step 1: Send an Email

Send an email with the following details:

Subject: "Data Deletion Request"

Step 2: Include This Information in the Email

Your registered email address
School/Institution name (if applicable)
Phone number registered with the account
Reason for data deletion (optional)

Step 3: Verification

We will verify your request. We may ask you for additional information for verification.

Step 4: Data Deletion

All your data will be deleted within 7 business days, and you will receive a confirmation email.

What Will Be Deleted?

Once a data deletion request is approved, the following will be deleted:

Your personal profile information
Account login credentials
All data related to the School/Institution (where you are an admin)
Student records, attendance, marks, fees, etc.
Communication history and messages
All uploaded files and documents
Your activity information in system logs

What Will Not Be Deleted?

The following information will be retained due to legal requirements:

Financial/Tax Records: Records required under government regulations
Audit Logs: Anonymized logs for system security and fraud prevention
Legal Compliance: Information required under DPDPA 2023 and the IT Act 2000

Can I recover my data after deletion?

No, once data is deleted it cannot be recovered. Please back up any important data before requesting deletion.

Yes, if the data deletion has not yet been executed, you can send a cancellation request by email.

What happens after data deletion?

Your account will be completely deactivated. To access the platform again, you will need to create a new account.

Will all my data be completely deleted?

Yes, all your personal and organizational data will be permanently deleted, except where retention is required by law.
